Portfolio manager Claudio Ferrarese has left Fidelity International after more than 17 years with the company, Fidelity confirmed.
Ferrarese was part Fidelity’s fixed income team, working as a portfolio manager for the past nine years. He started at Fidelity in 2006 doing quantitative research for the fixed income team.
“We thank Claudio for his contribution to the fixed income team and wish him well for the future,” Fidelity stated.
The exit follows the May announcement that Allianz’s Mike Riddell has joined Fidelity to become lead portfolio manager of the strategic and total return bond funds. Current lead Tim Foster will “assume co-portfolio manager responsibilities”.

Fidelity said Riddell will assume responsibility at the latest by January 2025 after fulfilling contractual obligations, but joins Fidelity in August. He brings 22 years of experience to the position, including over eight years at Allianz Global Investors and 12 with M&G Investments.
