City Asset Management has made two appointments to its team, including the deputy head of Brooks Macdonald’s Tunbridge Wells office as an investment director.
Daniel Minett (pictured) spent almost 10 years at Brooks Macdonald and has experience running portfolios for private clients, trusts, charities and pension schemes.
He also worked at Investment Quorum as an IFA between 2004 and 2008.
The firm has also hired Mark Palmer as a business development manager. Palmer has worked at Legg Mason and Fidelity, predominantly distributing funds via product providers and financial advisers.
City Asset Management said the hires follow “exceptionally high” organic growth of 19% over the past two years into its bespoke discretionary service.
Chief executive Nick Coghill said: “We are delighted with how the business has continued to grow its appeal to both clients and advisers.
“Mark and Daniel are exciting hires in terms of the experience that they bring to the business and demonstrate our ambitions and commitment to growth and our ability to attract exceptional talent that buy in to our vision.”
