Taking on the role of head CIO global asset allocation from 1 March, he will report to Mark Haefele, global chief investment officer wealth management, and will join the CIO management committee.
Bringing more than 20 years’ investment experience, his most recent role at UBS AM was head of multi-asset.
The group said: “Given his skill and experience, Andreas is perfectly placed to help drive CIO and the global asset allocation team forward.
“Andreas will build on and further strengthen CIO’s world-class house view investment process, working closely with their partners within wealth management and across the firm.”
