Zoltowski will be responsible for building the firm’s private client base as well as growing its intermediary client market as Church House looks to expand its distribution.

Prior to Sanalam, Zoltowski spent 10 years as a senior private banker at Credit Suisse, as well as roles at Merril Lynch and Coutts.

He will report to business director James Johnsen, along with Andrea Steel who has recently joined the client relations team based in the firm’s Dorset office.

Johnsen said: “Paul and Andrea’s appointments mark the next stage for Church House following a prolonged period during which we’ve seen strong flows from investors seeking above-inflation growth with low volatility.

“To date, this has mostly come from the retail and private client sector but we have recently seen growing interest from intermediaries and institutions.

“Paul represents a significant hire with his depth of experience and knowledge of our target markets.”

Zoltowski added: “I am excited to be joining Church House at this stage in their development to help them broaden the business reach.

“I have long known and respected the name of Church House. Their focus on risk management and consistent track record have stood their clients in good stead during the volatility of the past twenty years.”
