Fixed income fund manager Noelle Cazalis will leave Rathbones after 12 years at the firm to pursue opportunities outside the UK.

She joined the firm in 2011 as a credit analyst before being made a fund manager in 2018. Cazalis took the lead of Rathbone High Quality Bond fund following its launch in 2019, while assisting on the Rathbone Ethical Bond and Strategic Bond strategies run by Bryn Jones.

Fund manager Stuart Chilvers (pictured) will step up to lead the High Quality Bond fund following Cazalis’ exit. He joined the firm in 2017 after beginning his career at Brown Shipley.

The firm said it also intends to hire another member to support the fixed income team.

Bryn Jones, head of fixed income at Rathbones, said: “I want to thank Noelle for her exemplary dedication and hard work over the years that she has been with the fixed income team and her role in its growth. I know the whole of Rathbones will miss her and wish her every success in her future endeavours.

“We have always put huge focus on nurturing talent within the team and I am pleased to appoint Stuart Chilvers as lead fund manager on the Rathbone High Quality Bond fund. Stuart has been with the team for almost six years, joining as a fixed income research analyst and latterly working as a fund manager supporting our three strategies.

“This should enable a seamless transition for our clients and we look forward to continuing to work with them.”
