Jonathan Morgan joins the London-based firm having spent 20 years in investment management. He is a former divisional director at Rensburg Sheppards (now Investec). He previously also worked at Julius Baer with responsibility for private client relationship management and business development, and at Hottinger, the Swiss private bank.

Colin Robertson (pictured) brings over 30 years of experience in portfolio management with him to Charteris. He previously held senior client‐facing roles at several leading financial sector companies, including Aberdeen Asset Management, Brown Shipley, Cornelian, and Gillespie MacAndrews LLP.

The firm has also hired Neil Thapar to the newly created position of head of public relations. Thapar was a financial journalist for 20 years before becoming a PR adviser.

Ian Williams, chief executive of Charteris, said: “I am delighted that Jonathan, Colin and Neil have decided to join Charteris. They are all highly experienced and will significantly strengthen our in‐house capability as we see strong growth in demand and excellent fund performance.”
