Charles Stanley has acquired Birmingham-based adviser firm Jobson James Financial Services.

|

Charles Stanley says the acquisition will boost its strategic presence in the Midlands. Jobson James was formed in 1993, is based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, and provides wealth management advice and services to private and corporate clients.

Existing senior management within the business’ wealth management and financial planning arm, including Richard Venner and Miles Goodworth, will remain on the board of JJFS alongside new additions from Charles Stanley.

JJFS sister company Jobson James Insurance Brokers was not included in the deal.

The total amount paid for Jobson James will be dependent on certain revenue targets being achieved over a two year period. No further financial details were disclosed.
