Charles Stanley hires sales trio to target regional IFAs

Wealth manager raids Prudential, Suffolk Life and Morningstar for expertise

Charles Stanley has made a trio of hires to bolster its intermediary sales team.

Marie Lawrence, Sean Osborne and Matthew Honour have joined the wealth manager to help target regional IFA clients.

Lawrence (pictured) joins as intermediary sales manager to grow Charles Stanley’s discretionary investment business in the Thames Valley. She has more than 24 years’ experience and joins from Prudential where she worked in pension and investment sales. She has also worked at GE Life, Abbey National, Winterthur and Aegon.

Osborne, a Sipp expert, has been appointed as head of national accounts responsible for UK intermediary sales and as a member of the executive committee. He joins from Suffolk Life where he was head of sales.

Elsewhere, Honour has been hired as an asset management specialist to grow the managed portfolio services in the South. He has more than 22 years’ experience working for companies including Axa Life Invest, Metlife Europe and Aegon. He joins from Morningstar Investment Management Europe where he was business development manager, South West and Wales.
