Cash savings Platform Insignis has appointed former CCLA head of intermediary sales Sam Pennefather as the new VP of wealth at the firm.

Pennefather will lead Insignis’ wealth distribution strategy and will be responsible for deepening relationships in the UK’s wealth management and financial adviser communities. He will also be responsible for accelerating Insignis’ engagement with the industry, and the adoption of its platform through partnerships.

Pennefather brings almost a decade of experience in the financial services industry, having served as a head of intermediary sales and strategic relationships at CCLA Investment Management since 2022. Before that, he spent almost 13 years in various roles at Jupiter Asset Management, as well as three years as an associate at Fidelity International.

Kate Toumazi, CEO of Insignis, said: “Sam’s experience, industry relationships and deep understanding of the needs of advisers and investors make him an outstanding addition to our leadership team.

“He will play a key role in helping us expand our reach and further strengthen our position as a trusted partner to the wealth management community.”

Pennefather said he was “thrilled” to join the firm at a pivotal time.

“The company has established a market-leading and innovative proposition that addresses a clear need for advisers and clients seeking to optimise cash management while maintaining the security and simplicity they expect.

“I look forward to working with colleagues, partners and clients to build on the firm’s success and support its next phase of growth,” he concluded.
