Hanafin and Pugh will join as regional sales managers and all three will start at Sarasin & Partners on 30 September in a drive to extend the firm’s UK retail funds distribution.
In total Thorpe will lead a team of six and will be responsible for driving growth of the sale of Sarasin & Partners global thematic investment approach through its long-only equity funds.
Thorpe, Hanafin and Pugh will work alongside Andrew Thompson, director of distribution at Sarasin.
The trio left Cazenove following the announcement of its merger with Schroders. Look out for an analysis on the new-look Schroders and Cazenove combined business later this week.
