Carter starts on 14 November and joins from European Credit Management where he was analyst specialising in European industrial credit.
He will report to Cazenove Capital’s head of credit, Peter Harvey, whose team manages the Strategic Bond Fund as well as the Strategic Debt and UK Corporate Bond Fund.
Harvey said: "High yield debt is an important and growing area and we value the analysis and insight Carter will bring to the team."
