Canada Life Asset Management has appointed Paul Pugh as head of strategic alliances within its distribution team.
He will report to head of distribution James Stoddart and support the expansion of the firm’s sales and distribution across advisory audiences.

Pugh brings more than 25 years’ experience to the role, having previously worked as head of strategic partnerships at AJ Bell. He has held similar positions at Legal & General Investment Management and Premier Asset Management.
Stoddart said: “Making a hire of Paul’s experience will significantly strengthen Canada Life Asset Management’s distribution team and we are excited to have him on board. With over 25 years’ experience, Paul will play an important role as we continue to grow our distribution footprint.”
