Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management UK and Crown Dependencies has appointed David Blake from Rathbones as senior investment director.
Blake, who has more than 25 years of experience within discretionary investment management, spent the last nine years as investment director at Rathbones. Before this role, he worked as private client and charities director at Jupiter Fund Management. Blake has also held roles at Bestinvest and Brooks Macdonald Asset Management.

In Canaccord’s latest annual results, the company ended its fiscal year with £33bn in client assets – a 2.8% increase over its last two financial quarters. Canaccord experienced positive growth in the past 12 months, ending with £215.2m in revenue, an 18.6% rise from the previous year.
