Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management has hired Charles Cohen as head of wealth management in Jersey.
Cohen has been with Canaccord since 2016, operating out of the London office. He has worked in portfolio management for over 30 years and before his finance career, worked in the army. Cohen has specialised in services for charities, pensions, and private clients.

In his new role, he will lead the portfolio management and stockbroking teams for clients based in Jersey and internationally.

Canaccord, which had £32.5bn assets under management as of June 2023, also acquired Intelligent Capital in November. The company also hired business development directors Toby Gower and Francis Walker this month for its IFA sales team.
