C Hoare & Co has hired a senior relationship manager for the North East of England.
Carl Brian (pictured) has been given responsibility to grow the private bank’s presence in Yorkshire and the North East, targeting the region’s family businesses, entrepreneurial company owners and leading farms and estates.
Brian has more than 20 years’ experience in managing retail, private and commercial banking customers. He joins from Natwest Group where he was a senior relationship manager in commercial and corporate banking.
Before that, he held various positions at Natwest Group brands, including associate director, private banker and senior relationship manager at Coutts and Natwest Private Banking.
Brian’s hire follows the appointment in June of Simon King as a senior relationship manager focused on Manchester and the North West.
C Hoare & Co partner and director Venetia Hoare said: “We have looked after customers in Yorkshire for many generations and are delighted that this link will be further strengthened by the appointment of Carl. I wish him a warm welcome and look forward to working together.”
