Brown Shipley has hired a former St James’s Place woman to become a client adviser in its Manchester office.

Georgina Breeze (pictured) will report to head of Brown Shipley’s Manchester office Martin Cuthbert. In a press release, Cuthbert said Brown Shipley is looking to strengthen its presence in the city and deliver its wider strategic growth plans in the North West.

Breeze started her 13-year financial services career at SJP, initially in business development before becoming a financial adviser. She then moved to Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, where she has worked for the last decade looking after high net worth and entrepreneur clients, providing investment advice on discretionary and advisory portfolios.

As well as Manchester, Brown Shipley has offices in Birmingham, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Leeds, London, Norwich and Nottingham. It is owned by its Luxembourg-based parent Quintet Private Bank.
