Brooks Macdonald has become the latest discretionary fund manager to be added to RSMR’s DFM panel.

It becomes the seventh DFM to join RSMR’s online service designed to help IFAs choose DFMs, joining Brewin Dolphin, Cazenove Capital, Quilter Cheviot, Rathbones, Seven Investment Management and Waverton.

RSMR’s panel was launched in June as part of its Adviser Hub to add a qualitative element to its existing quantitative ratings service. It includes a profile for each of the DFM’s solutions, as well as news and ideas from the DFMs, and videos and events for advisers.

Brooks Macdonald head of UK distribution Gary Stirrup said: “Clarity in the selection and use of DFMs is so important and, having worked with RSMR for some time now, we know how much advisers value their independent qualitative analysis and research.

“The DFM Academy supports that impartial approach yet also allows rated DFMs such as Brooks Macdonald to use the platform to provide additional content and ideas to further understanding among the adviser community.”

RSMR head of fund group relationships Simon Forrester said Brooks will bring “additional insight and thought leadership to our DFM Academy”.
