A hefty contribution to this was the acquisition of the Clarke Willmott investment management team completed on 31 October that added £114.4m of discretionary client assets.
This team is now part of Brooks Macdonald Asset Management, based in the firm’s new office in Taunton.
At the end of 2011, discretionary funds under management totalled £3.2bn, an increase of 11% from the previous quarter (£2.9bn) and 8% up on its position at the end of June 2011 (£2.97bn).
These figures include the £114m held in Brooks Macdonald Funds, up from £101m at the end of June.
Braemar Estates is the property management division of the Brooks Macdonald Group and holds a further £780m, up from £750m in June.
The Group will issue its half-year results on 13 March.
