March joins just after the specialist property management division announced it has reached the landmark of £1bn in assets under administration.
The business was acquired in July 2010 by Brooks Macdonald, for approximately £4m, and now has a property portfolio comprising 63 residential blocks across the UK.
Simon Wombwell, director at Brooks Macdonald, said March’s appointment showed the commitment the group had to the Braemar Estates business.
March has over 30 years’ property management experience and joins from Allsop Residential Investment Management where he was property director.
Yesterday, Brooks Macdonald’s results revealed the company’s discretionary funds under management had outpaced its advisory assets under administration in the first quarter of the year.
