He joined the firm in 2006 as an analyst, and was promoted to head of portfolio strategy in 2012.
“We have no in-house products and Research has been a key component of our portfolio management service at Brewin Dolphin since 1997,” director and head of investment management, Stephen Ford, said.
Foster takes over from Matthew Butcher, who left the company in October last year.
