Brewin Dolphin has nabbed Janet Mui from Cazenove Capital to become an investment director within its research team.
Mui had been at Cazenove Capital for nine years, most recently as a global economist. She was on the investment committee and was also chief spokesperson on macro issues, particularly in regards to China. She started out at the firm in 2011 as research executive to the chief investment officer.
Prior to that she was a relationship manager at Citi in Hong Kong.

Mui speaks Cantonese and is fluent in Mandarin.
She is an economics graduate from the London School of Economics and also holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge.
