BNP Paribas poaches Barclays man for multi-asset role

Guillermo Felices has joined the Colin Graham-led BNP Paribas Investment Partners’ Multi Asset Solutions team as a senior market strategist.

He joined from Barclays where he was most recently head of asset allocation research for Europe, having also held the role as head of foreign exchange strategy.

Prior to this, he was senior global macro strategist at Citigroup, having previously been a senior economist at the Bank of England, in the monetary analysis and financial stability areas.

With some €73bn in assets under management, the Multi Asset Solutions team runs income, growth and risk-managed funds, primarily for institutional investors.

Graham, CIO for the team, said: “Guillermo Felices has extensive research experience of emerging markets, which will complement our existing expertise within the Multi Asset Solutions team. 

“The addition of Guillermo will deepen our resources and enhance our efforts to deliver consistent returns for our clients, and I am very pleased to welcome him to BNP Paribas Investment Partners.”
