Harte will be based in London and work with recently-hired BNP Paribas IP CIO Colin Graham.
Harte has been in the industry over 30 years including 11 years at Baring Asset Management where his roles have included director of fixed interest and currency, and head of absolute return and high alpha. He also spent time at Gartmore and Norwich Union Investment Management.
This is the second senior hire in the multi asset group this year with Graham joining in March.
