Two BlackRock investment trusts have announced changes to their manager lineups, following a wider restructure of the firm’s global emerging markets team.
The changes see Sudaif Niaz, who has co-managed the £276m BlackRock Frontiers Investment Trust since February 2023, step down from his role.
Co-managers Sam Vecht and Emily Fletcher will continue to run the portfolio. The pair have managed the trust since launch in 2010.

Fraser joined BlackRock in 2006 and has spend 18 years in the firm’s global emerging markets team. He replaces Christoph Brinkmann, who has stepped down..
The boards of both trusts said that no changes would be made to the day-to-day management of either portfolio.
