BlackRock has promoted Alexandra Dangoor to co-portfolio manager of the Greater Europe investment trust where she will work aside manager Stefan Gries.
Dangoor has worked her way up the ladder at BlackRock in the past several years, working as a summer intern analyst in 2015 before beginning the company’s graduate rotation programme as an analyst for the Natural Resources and European equity teams.
She was promoted to associate in 2019, where she worked on the fundamental European equity team.

She earned her degree from Bristol University in mathematics and economics before earning her MSc in investment and wealth management from the Imperial College Business School.
BlackRock said that the objective of the fund will stay the same. As of 31 August, the fund held £565.8m in assets, with the share price declining by 4.4% within the month.
The fund currently invests in a range of companies across Europe including LVMH, Lonza Group, Hèrmes, and Novo Nordisk. 6.1% of the fund’s assets are held in the UK and 23.5% of the fund’s investments are held in the technology field.
