Wealth manager Bentley Reid has appointed Paul O’Neill (pictured) as its chief investment officer, taking over from Peter Clark who has been appointed as CEO.
He was previously portfolio manager of the Talisman Value fund at Talisman Global Asset Management and a portfolio manager at Slater Investments.
O’Neill’s most recent role came as a strategic change project manager for Schroders, Hermes and Fidelity. His role included launching a public private assets fund for Fidelity and leading Schroders Private Wealth’s ESG project.
He was also previously head of UK asset management and research at Butterfield Private Bank.
