It will be run by Robert Hughes, a senior market strategist with particular responsibility for the firm’s global equity strategy research.
The BBH Global Portfolio Strategy product is an extension of the process-driven research approach used to run its BBH US Portfolio Strategy, “adding a new perspective on regional and global sector equity allocations” according to Hughes.
The research provides market insight, investment strategy views and stock-level earnings information giving overviews of financial sectors, equity sectors, industries and individual stocks.
Hughes joined Brown Brothers Harriman last year having held senior research positions at State Street Global Markets and Prudential Securities.
