The newly created role of global head of private banking has been taken on by Véronique Fournier.

Véronique Fournier is joining the firm and will be based in Barings’ new office in Geneva. She will report jointly to Angus Woolhouse, global head of distribution and Oliver Morath, head of EMEA sales.
 
Previously, Fournier was employed as relationship director for the global financial institutions group at Schroder Investment Management. Prior to this she held a number of senior business development positions at Aviva Global Investors, previously known as Morley Fund Management. 
 
“Véronique’s considerable experience and deep understanding of financial institutions will be a huge advantage to Barings as we seek to broaden and deepen our client relationships in Switzerland.  Additionally she will be responsible for leading our global private banking channel, working with colleagues across Barings’ global network,” Woolhouse commented.
