Mann joins from Aberdeen Asset Management, where he was an investment manager in the European equities team.
Prior to this he worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management and before that at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
He will report to David Bertocchi, head of international and world equities and will be based in London.
The international and world equities team uses an investment approach linking top-down and bottom-up analysis and manages more than £2.8bn for retail and institutional clients.
