Axa Investment Managers has named Françoise Cespedes as a senior portfolio manager, responsible for small-cap strategies and ESG integration.
She will work within the Axa Framlington small-cap equities team in Paris alongside Frederic Tassin and Frederic Guignard.
Cespedes joins Axa from Aviva Investors where she was a fund manager for the firm’s Climate Transition European Equity and European Equity Income funds. The Climate Transition fund had €1.23bn (£1bn) in assets under management at the end of June.
Prior to this, she worked at Banque Neuflize as an analyst and portfolio manager, with a focus on small cap, responsible investment, and European equities. She began her career as a sell-side analyst at Aurel-Leven and ING.
