Aviva Investors has strengthened its multi-manager research team with the appointments of Luca Dal Mas and Joshua Biele.
Dal Mas joins as senior multi-manager analyst from Barings, where he managed multi-asset strategies across developed and emerging markets and a fund of hedge funds. He was also responsible for fund research for both the institutional and the charities businesses.
Prior to this, he was at Darta Saving Life Ltd Dublin (Allianz Group) where he worked for four years as an assistant financial manager.
Meanwhile, Biele joins as a multi-manager analyst from Jupiter Asset Management where he was a product and client intelligence analyst.
Both will be based in London and report to Isabel Emo Capodilista (pictured), head of multi manager research.
Emo Capodilista said she looked forward to welcoming the pair to the team.
“They bring strong experience of identifying and evaluating investment managers that will be beneficial to portfolio construction across our multi-asset fund range.”
The hires follow five other recent appointments to the wider multi-asset team including: Kevin O’Nolan and Guillaume Paillat who joined as multi-asset portfolio managers from Fidelity and First State Investments, and Patrick Bartholet, Katarina Cohrs and David Nowakowski all joined as multi-asset strategists.
