Aviva Investors’ Richard Rainback has left the business and joined Allfunds Bank as a fund analyst.

At Aviva Investors, Rainback (pictured) was an analyst and multi-manager, according to his LinkedIn profile. He was responsible for fund research and selection which entailed the maintenance of a buy-list,which was used by London and Paris-based fund managers.

His responsibilities also included providing recommendations for Aviva’s externally-marketed select range of funds, ongoing investment due diligence on all funds offered and presentation of research to internal and external clients.

A spokesperson at Aviva Investors confirmed Rainback’s exit.

He told Portfolio Adviser: “We are actively recruiting a replacement and looking to expand the multi manager research team with a further hire.”

Rainback covered a wide range of asset classes including: emerging market equities, Asia Pacific (excluding Japan), emerging market debt, sterling and global corporate bonds, UK government debt and UK property.

Allfunds Bank International  was created by Allfunds Bank Group to adapt its Undertaking for Collective Investment (UCI) distribution business model in Luxembourg to intermediary client funds in countries where Allfunds Bank does not have a permanent establishment.

It covers Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and the United States.
