Atomos has bolstered its Fareham office on the south coast with the appointments of wealth planning director Sean Sims and senior wealth planner Bruce Davison.

Atomos picked up Davison in January after his 23-year spell at NFU Mutual ended when he was made redundant following a re-organisation of its advisory arm. At NFU, he worked with both personal and business clients, and he specialises in retirement planning, including self-invested personal pensions and inheritance tax planning.

Sims joins from Sims Financial Planning, a Southampton-based business that he founded in August 1997. Prior to that, he worked for Sedgwick Noble Lowndes as a financial adviser.

The pair will report to Mike Mason, head of Atomos’ Fareham office, who said: “We are very pleased to welcome Sean and Bruce to our Fareham office, where we are seeing significant growth. Both have extensive experience advising clients across the spectrum of financial planning and will make a real impact with people in need of high-quality advice in our area.”

Atomos rebranded from Sanlam Wealth in July last year.
