Atlantic House head of distribution Dorian Hughes (pictured) is set to depart the firm, Portfolio Adviser has learned.

On 14 November, Atlantic House announced CEO Tony Stenning’s decision to step down to take a career break. He will be succeeded by founder and CIO Tom May.

An Atlantic House spokesperson told Portfolio Adviser: “Dorian let the team know of his decision to leave some months ago and has been working through a handover with the team since then. His leaving Atlantic House is in no way linked to Tony’s departure.”

Hughes joined the asset manager in July 2020 following a stint as head of commercial partnerships at Mental Health Innovations.

He has spent the bulk of his career at Blackrock in a spell spanning 32 years from 1986 to 2019, holding several senior roles including head of regional wealth for UK retail.
