David Archer has been appointed as a director of intermediary sales and is working alongside Paul Miles, director of intermediary services, who joined from Parmenion in February to specifically broaden the firm’s distribution strategy with intermediaries.

Archer joined the firm on 11 July and has as his primary focus the promotion of the firm’s in-house asset management services to intermediaries.

Prior to this, since 2007 Archer was an intermediary sales manager with Kleinwort Benson.

On 13 July, Ashcourt Rowan confirmed that Guy Stephens, investment director, and Tim Cockerill, head of research, have quit the firm to join Rowan Dartington. They will take up their new roles early in September.
