Ren left a previous role Caxton Associates and has been appointed fixed income analyst and Hysa as macro analyst after internships at HSBC and BlackRock.

They will be responsible for analysis of developed, emerging and frontier markets at the firm which has around $10bn assets under management.

Stephen Kelso, CEO of Ashburton Investments, said: “Our multi asset offering has been the cornerstone of our business for more than 30 years and we are delighted to welcome Mark, Jack and Samed to the team as we continue to grow our leading proposition.

“As part of our investment process we aim to effectively manage risk and access additional sources of return for our investors, and each new hire brings invaluable knowledge and skills in different areas of the market to our business.”

Melehes has been a cross-asset strategist at the firm since April and previously worked at Pivot Capital Management and as head of trading at SEIA Capital Management.
