Artemis Investment Management has lined up Fidelity’s Paras Anand as its new chief investment officer.

Anand will join Artemis in early 2022 to take over for Matthew Beesley, who is transferring to Jupiter to replace outgoing CIO Stephen Pearson.

He has spent the last decade at Fidelity, joining the business in 2012 as CIO for Europe equities before moving to Singapore in 2018 to become CIO of Asia Pacific. Prior to this, he was head of European equities at F&C.

Artemis senior partner Mark Murray said: “We are delighted to have attracted such an experienced CIO. We all look forward to working with Paras as we continue to focus on providing active, differentiated investment solutions which meet our clients’ evolving needs.”
