Artemis has appointed Fidelity International’s Toby Gibb to the newly-created role of head of investment solutions.
Gibb (pictured) will join the fund boutique in June having spent the last 13-and-a-half years at Fidelity. He was most recently global head of investment directing at the asset manager, having joined as an investment director from Henderson Global Investors in 2009.
During his time at Fidelity he was also a client portfolio manager in the firm’s multi-asset team.
At Artemis, Gibb will support the group’s product and strategic development, working alongside CIO Paras Anand and head of distribution Greg Jones.
Jones said: “The firm has long had a reputation for delivering highly active differentiated investment solutions for clients. Toby’s appointment will help us to continue to build on what we’ve done historically as well as to investigate new ideas. He is an excellent addition to our senior investment teams.”
In February, Artemis appointed JP Morgan’s Alex Stanic to the newly-created role of head of global equities, replacing departing fund mangers Simon Edelsten and Alex Illingworth.
