Artemis has added Anna Pugh to its team as an analyst, working alongside Mark Niznik and William Tamworth on the Artemis UK Smaller Companies fund and Artemis UK Future Leaders investment trust.

Commenting on the addition, Niznik said: “We believe her skills and experience will help us to capture the significant upside we see for our investors.

“Artemis is making a strategic, long-term commitment to invest in our UK smaller companies capability,” he added. “We are doing this at an important juncture for the asset class, which we believe is significantly undervalued.”

Pugh has over a decade of experience, having spent the past eight years as a portfolio manager and equity analyst at River Global Investors. In this role, she focused primarily on UK small and micro-cap strategies.

Before that, she was a client investment strategy manager at Neptune Investment Management.
