He has joined from NatWest Bank and Coutts & Co, where he dealt with high net worth and ultra high net worth clients. He has 25 years industry experience.

James Fleming, chief executive of Arbuthnot Latham, said: “Adam’s is the latest in a series of new appointments at Arbuthnot Latham in recent months and forms part of the on-going enhancement of the private banking and wealth management services provided by the bank.”

This is not the first time Arbuthnot Latham has poached from Coutts. In September, the firm recruited Liz Bottomley as its head of private banking, while Kieran McDonnell joined as a senior chartered financial planner.

In January, Dan Saxby also left Coutts to join as a director, private banking.
