The wealth manager said in the newly created position, Mirner will take a leading role in targeting new markets, including energy, technology entrepreneurs, law firms and accountancy practices.

Mirner’s appointment follows soon on the heels of August’s appointment by the group of Harry Morgan as CIO from Thomas Miller Investment Management.
Mirner joins from HSBC where he was head of fund administration, Anderson Strathern said. Previously, he has held positions at Standard Life and was CFO at Ignis Asset Management between 1994 and 2012.
