Amundi has appointed Barry Glavin as its head of equity investment platform and expanded the role of Vafa Ahmadi to oversee global thematic equity.
Glavin is the former State Street Global Advisors chief investment officer of fundamental value equities, a role he has held since 2013. Previously, he was head of research for fundamental equities, and spent a total of over 16 years at State Street.
Prior to State Street, Glavin spent over six years with HSBC Global Asset Management as a portfolio manager and equity analyst and started his career as an exchange-traded derivatives broker.
Amundi held over €2trn assets under management as of the end of 2023.
