Guillet will officially start his new job on 1 June, and will continue as CEO of Amundi Alternative Investments, a role he has held since mid-2011.
Until now Laurent Crosnier has operated as both CEO and CIO at Amundi London, but will now focus solely on the investment side of the business, continuing as CIO and deputy head of the firm’s fixed income platform headed up by Eric Brard.
Amundi’s UK business covers global fixed income, absolute return, currency, EM debt, global corporate bonds and global equities.
Last year the firm signed a distribution deal with anti-benchmark asset managers Tobam.
