CEO Paul Jourdan said: “Gregor has extensive UK equity market experience, developed over more than 20 years, and predominantly focused on small and mid-cap companies. He brings considerable market facing experience, analysing and advising listed companies, from early stage VCT qualifying companies to FTSE constituents across a broad range of sectors, through numerous economic cycles. We are very much looking forward to working with Gregor as part of our UK equities team.”
Paterson will be working primarily with the Amati AIM VCT, alongside Jourdan and David Stevenson. As of 30 June, Amati holds £652m assets under management.
Commenting on his appointment, Paterson said: “I have known the Amati team for many years and followed closely their impressive growth and successful navigation of the UK markets. I am delighted to be joining such a thoughtful and experienced team and believe my own experience will complement that of the wider firm. I look forward to making a significant contribution to Amati’s ongoing success.”
