Amati fund manager Anna Macdonald exits

Amati Global Investors fund manager Anna Macdonald has exited after five years with the firm.

Macdonald (pictured) had been managing the Amati UK Listed Smaller Companies fund and the Amati AIM VCT.

She said: “I have so much enjoyed my time working at Amati, together with such a great team. I now look forward to taking some time out to spend with my daughters.”

Macdonald joined Edinburgh-based Amati in 2018 from Adam & Company. Earlier, she held roles at firms including Henderson Global Investors.

Amati CEO Paul Jourdan, commented: “We have enjoyed working with Anna and thank her for her contribution over the last five years. We wish her all the best for the future.”

The remaining team of Jourdan, David Stevenson, Scott McKenzie and Gareth Blades will continue to manage the fund without Macdonald.
