As previously revealled, Mark Sevier joins as head of research, taking overall responsibility for Alpha’s investment strategy, while James Gardner becomes head of propositions, charged with looking after proposition development and collectives research.
They will join up with former colleague Andrew Morris, Alpha’s principal & head of business development, and previously managing director at Rowan Dartington’s Signature.
They will also work with Joe Dyer, head of portfolio management, together with Helen Parry and Claire Hudd who provide administrative support.
Morris said: “We are a division of RC Brown, and we share systems and services operating in the way we worked before, in our own way.
“Going forward the world has moved on with RDR and many people have outsourced wholly, but still people are interested in quite traditional services and personalised equity biased portfolios because the costs are more attractive.”
