Alpha FMC chief executive Euan Fraser (pictured) has announced he will stand down at the end of March 2023.

After leaving the board, he will remain with the firm as a strategic adviser.

Luc Baqué, global head of asset and wealth management consulting at Alpha FMC, will step up to the top job.

Baqué joined Alpha in 2010 to launch the firm’s Paris office. He was promoted to head of Europe in 2016, before taking on his current role in 2020.

He previously held roles at UBS and Solving International.

Ken Fry, non-executive chair, said: “Euan has been instrumental in the success of Alpha since he joined the business in 2004 and became CEO in 2013. During that time, the business has expanded into one of the leading global asset and wealth management consultancies.”

Of Baqué’s appointment, he added: “Since becoming head of asset and wealth management in 2016, the division has experienced exceptional growth. As a key member of the executive team, he has made a significant contribution to Alpha and the board is confident that he will continue to drive the business forward in the years ahead.”
