The firm fields the Luxembourg-listed €5.27bn Alken European Opportunities and €2.41bn Absolute Return Europe funds, under the helm of founder Nicolas Walewski.
Michael Aubourg, an analyst in the food, beverages, tobacco and household & personal care industries, has joined from Credit Suisse in Paris, where he was an associate in the group’s French investment banking division. Before that, he spent three years at Lazard in the M&A and restructuring teams.
Nicolas Descoqs is an analyst in the oil & gas, metals & mining, and aerospace & defence industries. He has joined from exploration and production giant ConocoPhillips, where he started his career in 2005.
“It has been always been our plan to continue investing in and reinforcing our research capability,” Walewski said.
