Investment pundit Adrian Lowcock has joined Tilney Smith & Williamson as investment communications director.

Lowcock (pictured) takes up the newly created role ahead of the wealth manager’s rebrand to Evelyn Partners this summer.

The appointment marks his return to the industry after exiting Willis Owen last May following a restructuring. He joined the DIY platform as head of personal investing from Architas in 2018.

Lowcock has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, having worked as head of investing at Axa Wealth, investment director at Architas and senior research analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown.

He also spent nine years at Bestinvest, heading up its PR and communications, before it was acquired by Tilney.

Ben Seager-Scott, head of multi-asset funds at Tilney Smith & Williamson, said: “As we re-brand to Evelyn Partners, Adrian will help ensure we continue to provide high-quality communications to financial planners to help them navigate their clients through these turbulent times.”
