From 21st March Hanson will be responsible for developing the 16 person team’s absolute return proposition, reporting to head of multi-asset Dave Fishwick.
Hanson has 15 years’ experience in asset management and joins M&G from Ashburton Investments, where he was head of asset allocation, responsible for its global multi-asset funds.
Prior to this he worked as a strategist at JP Morgan Cazenove covering equities, fixed income and currencies.
